Schwaebisch Gmuend, February 26, 2019 – Archiving remains one of the most important topics in the healthcare business. Auditing acceptability, simple, intuitive handling and universal use in the system environment are the focus here. On this subject GRAU DATA and the OEM team of Dell EMC will be showcasing the Dell EMC WORM appliance at the DMEA from April 9 to 11, 2019 in Berlin.
Dell EMC’s hardware-software combination provides healthcare organizations with secure and auditable WORM long-term archiving of confidential and sensitive data in compliance with current compliance guidelines – including those certified by KPMG, e. g. GoBD, SEC, BAO, GeBÜV, etc. When storing, for example, from a PACS-, DMS- or E-Mail system, the data on the appliances are automatically provided with a WORM protection and can then be read, but not more to be changed. Optionally, the WORM data can be replicated to a secondary system to comply with additional compliance guidelines. The Microsoft Windows-based appliances integrate seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures and are easily scalable at any time.
Also noteworthy is that the Dell EMC WORM appliance is compatible with NetApp’s SnapLock interface. This makes a simple migration under compliance conditions possible at any time, i. e. including logging. The appliance will only be marketed through the Dell EMC organization and its distributors.
